Here WE Go

So after evaluating everything I have decided to tackle the first issue which is health or basically weight. I researched many plans and chose to use two together. The first is an HCG based diet and the second is an isometric exercise program. Although I will need to purchase the HCG to do this, I won't need to purchase any exercise equipment, just use my own body weight, of which there is currently plenty.  I found HCG online with a money back guarantee.GO HERE
The first step was to get a checkup and blood work done at the doctor's office. Everyone needs a yearly exam anyway and we all put it off so there is no time like the present. The second thing I've done is to take Dr. Andrew Weil's Vitamin Questionnaire. This saved me a lot of hassle regarding what supplements to take. Dr. Weil has a wonderful reputation and provides information to help you live a healthy life.

I will also be changing my personal care products. The amount of chemicals in traditional make-up and body washes is unbelievable. Your skin absorbs all of this on a daily basis .I discovered a great online company called Beautorium that provides a large variety of  personal care and make up items. I have provided a link to them. Another group of products I love are the Aveda products. They are available in stores or online. These are the items I am currently trying. I will let you know if I find anything better.

How I'm Going to Do This

So , I have decided that the only way I will be able to do this is if I set a few simple rules for myself. Rule one is nothing outrageously expensive. Rule two is that anything I use must be easily found in stores or on the internet. And rule three is that if it isn't showing any results in a two week period drop it and try something else. Lets be honest here if we don't see some type of result pretty quickly our motivation to continue goes out the window. Then we berate ourselves for not following through so lets avoid all that in the first place.

The beginning of health, weight loss, and sustainable development

The Beginning 4/29/11

I have decided to take the next year and begin a journey. It is a journey I've tried many times before but seldom finished. Each year most of us begin with resolutions in January that we invariably quit before Valentine's day in February.

I have looked over those doomed expeditions into an improved, healthier me, and been astounded that I even began such a halfhearted attempt to change anything much less myself. All of my efforts were begun without a plan and without the admission that more than one thing must change in my life to achieve success.

The first change is that I shall begin to implement my plan May 1, 2011. This gives me several days to mourn the old me and gather the ammunition necessary to implement my plans. It also allows me to escape the terrible karma New Year's resolutions have. The second change is the number of things I will be working on. I firmly believe a "wholistic" approach will be needed to implement lasting change. I will work on my health (weight), clean up my finances, find a fulfilling career path, take up old hobbies, and green my surroundings.

This may seem like a lot and it may look to the casual observer that I have taken on too many things but in reality if you look at your life you will find many things are interrelated. By making changes in each area they will begin to affect the other areas I am working on in a symbiotic way.

This should be an interesting and gratifying year.
